Dogs & Cats Watching TV

Like many people, you probably watch television. In fact, the average American watches about 4 hours of TV a day. But what about cats - do they enjoy television as well?
My readers might be familiar with a friend of mine, Dr. Nicholas Dodman. He's a very talented animal behaviorist who has written many wonderful articles for PetPlace.com. Well, he has used his years of training to develop a television channel just for dogs. Check out this video where Dr. Dodman explains more about how DogTV works:

What do you think about cats (and dogs) watching TV? Do you think they can appreciate it and be entertained by it, or are we trying to project our human traits on cats? Visit the poll here and tell us what you think.
Television has long been used by many cat lovers to soothe their pets while the humans are out of the house. There are several other ways to keep your kitty from getting lonely when you are at work or otherwise not home. Read this interesting article by Dr. Dodman himself. Go to: Cats Home Alone
